After three years at BHS, I opted for summer school and early graduation. I attended Columbus College for two years then transferred to UGA where I majored in journalism and met my husband, Ronnie Eakins. We have two wonderful sons. I work in the Marketing Department at Callaway Gardens and my husband manages FDR State Park.
