August 26, 2001

Daniel Bergeron, class of '65, passed away 30 August 2001 in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He attended the Millennium Reunion and spoke frequently of the good times he had seeing old classmates.

Lance Brown, '67 died at The Medical Center in Columbus on August 21, 2001 of injuries from a motorcycle accident on August 16. Lance taught at Shaw and Jordan high schools and at Columbus Technical College. May we all take a moment and reflect on the whisp of time we have here on Earth and make the best of the family, friends, and time we have in this life.

A quick note to all members of this site, Jan Hudgins (Clauson) has completed another update to her brother's site. As we all are aware we all lost a wonderful Baker Lion earlier this year in Michael Noman Hudgins. Please take a minute and visit this labor of love that Jan has accomplished.

September 9, 2001

Daniel Bergeron, class of '65, passed away 30 August 2001 in Thibodaux, Louisiana after a year long battle with brain cancer. He attended the Millennium celebration last year and he spoke often of the good times he had seeing old classmates.

Sherrel Key Vandevender of the class of '65 passed away on April 3, 2001. Sherrel died of a brain embelism. She was living in Orlando, FL.
